From Lagos to London: my MSc journey

I moved from Lagos to London in September 2022 for a one-year MSc in Data Science. The visa process took about six weeks once my CAS arrived, and the biggest shock was the cost of living — my accommodation deposit alone wiped out a third of my budget.What saved me was the Nigerian student community at my university and a part-time campus job. Eighteen months later I finished with a distinction and moved onto the Graduate Route visa.
